Christian Thomann

Christian Thomann is Associate Professor of Corporate Finance at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). He is also a Visiting Research Fellow at Swedish House of Finance (SHoF). Thomann’s current research interests lie in (i) Corporate responses to carbon taxes, ii) Environmental Policy and Technical Change, iii) Risk Management and Insurance.
From 2010 until 2022 he worked at the Swedish Ministry of Finance where he was senior advisor at the tax and customs department. From 2017 until 2021 he was vice chair of the OECD's working party on tax policy analysis.
